Covert Avengers: Chris Evans – Gifted

If the Marvel movies are great at one thing, it’s casting. So much so that sometimes its hard to imagine their actors ever weren’t Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Thor and the myriad players to take the screen since. Maybe they always were and the universe just didn’t know it yet. So, with Avengers: Endgame mere weeks away and a title suggested by my friend Sean, let’s not do an entire MCU rewatch again, and instead take a look at some Avengers in other roles, starting with Chris Evans in the 2017 drama Gifted.

2018 Media in Review: New Movies

Last year, I saw so few movies at the theater, I just combined them with the movies I streamed or watched on disc. That was not the case this year. In 2018 I saw 15 movies, most of which fell under the action/adventure/superhero umbrella, but there were some dramas, comedies and even a documentary to round out the list.

Here are the five I enjoyed the most of all, followed by all the rest.

I got a little behind on my Movie Fighting. Rather than spam Readers with a bunch of posts, here are some highlights from the three I didn’t get up in time.
